Wheat flour samosa (aatey ke samosey) Baked samosa recipe – the HEALTHY version of punjabi samosa made in the oven. To make it complete healthy, I have used whole wheat flour instead of all purpose.   1. It’s 2 cups of wheat flour,.
  2. You need 1 tbsn of salt.
  3. Prepare 1 tbsn of turmeric.
  4. Prepare 1 cup of warm water.
  5. Prepare 1 tbsn of yeast (this is for dough).
  6. You need Half kg of mutton mince.
  7. It’s 1 of onion.
  8. You need 1 of tomate.
  9. Prepare 2 tbsn of ginger garlic and Chilli paste.
  10. Prepare 4 of green chillies.
  11. Prepare 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.
  12. You need 1tsp of Turmeric.
  13. It’s 1 tbsn of salt.
  14. Prepare 1/2 of peas (this for mince).
  15. It’s of Tamarind chutney/ sauce.
  16. Prepare 1/2 cup of tamarind soaked in half cup warm water.
  17. Prepare 7 of Kashmiri red.
  18. You need of Chillies (less heat).
  19. It’s 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
  20. You need 2 of cloves garlic.
  21. You need 1 tsp of cumin.
  22. Prepare 1 tsp of salt.

But occasionally I take different route. Baked Samosa made with whole wheat flour is a far healthier version of Punjabi Samosa which is deep fried. To make Punjabi baked samosa , first we will prepare the outer covering. Combine whole wheat flour, ghee and salt together in a deep bowl and add enough water to make a firm dough.

  1. First knead the dough,make a soft dough, and cover with wet cloth and keep in warm heat 2 tbsn oil in pan add the sliced onion and cumin, mix now add ginger garlic and chilli paste them mutton mince and salt,mix well,add all in pic3 and cook well..
  2. Now add peas and simmer 2 mins and let it cool and add few coriander leaves. Now grind all in pic 2 this is tamarind chutney/sauce to go with it.after grind add salt,mix and ready..

  4. Now deep fry them.. serve hot with tamarind chutney/sauce(made 18).

Because samosa is so so common in India (you literally get samosa and chai at every other street corner), I always considered it to be a quintessential Indian delicacy. If you want to use whole wheat flour in this recipe, I would recommend replacing half of the flour with whole wheat. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, olive oil, and water. Use your hand or a spatula to mix together. Once the dough pulls away from sides of the bowl, transfer to a lightly floured surface.
